Spring Lip Clinic with Mary Kay!

Our Local Mary Kay Lady, Betsy, dropped by for a visit last week!   We kicked the men out of the room and enjoyed a little Girl Time!

Betsy brought everyone mirrors and showed us how to exfoliate our lips.   (who knew you could exfoliate your LIPS?)

Betsy showed us new techniques for applying lip liner.

We loved the new spring colors!

The ladies all looked BEAUTIFUL!   It was a great "Girls' Afternoon In"

Art Gallery Open House

For the last several months, we have been collecting art from our CCV Artists for the last several months.  They have been displayed in our Art Gallery.  Yesterday, we hosted an Open House and opened our doors to the public so that we could showcase the wonderful art to all of Hot Springs!

Chef William created wonderful snack trays.

The Sparkling Grape Juice was flowing!

We were elated to have Alisa and her beautiful harp back!

The snacks were perfect!

We had a great crowd!

A photographer from the paper was here, too.

The artists were on hand to answer questions.

Yum!

We enjoyed taking the time to look at all of the original art.  It was so wonderful to be immersed in the fabulous art that was created by our own talented neighbors.

Congratulations to everyone who participated!

It's Freezing Outside, But It's Warm in Here!

For the first time this winter, we saw single-digit temperatures this week.    But we didn't mind, we had a Luau inside!   It felt a balmy 85 degrees and sunny in here!

When you walked in the door, you were greeted with a mocktail out of a tiki hut-served with an umbrella!

Jim and Tom brought out their best Coconut Bras!

Carson adopted a pet parrot.

The buffet was just beautiful.  It looked like it came straight off an Island Paradise!

Once again, Chef Lee outdid himself.

Yum!

Even Juan got himself a drink!

There were leis at each spot in the dining room.  As soon as you came down to eat, you were dressed and ready to party!
Jennifer looked great!

After lunch, we carried the party upstairs.   The Caravan Band was here to preform!

Some things can never be unseen.  Thanks, Bob!

What a great show!

OH MY!

Lynn and Bob put on a great sideshow!

LIMBO!

We had a GREAT time watching!

The Line Dancers got up and did a dance, as well!

We had a great time at the Luau!  Let it rain, let it pour.  Let it be snowy and freeze-y!   We're nice and warm here in CCV Paradise!
